Nike Gets A Jump On Marathon Season With A Multicolor Alphafly 3

Gradients galore.

Nike Gets A Jump On Marathon Season With A Multicolor Alphafly 3

There’s been plenty of talk about Nike’s revamped road running lineup in recent seasons, but let’s not forget about the true upper echelon of running innovation. The Nike Alphafly 3 remains one of the most popular marathon sneakers on the market, here presented in a new multicolor look featuring a handful of eye-catching gradients.

A solid cop-and-stash option for spring, this Alphafly 3 sports an Orange Pulse upper that gradually fades into black around the quarter. Three shades define the midsole, starting with Orange Pulse up front, hot pink around the Air Zoom window, and Purple Dynasty toward the rear, all naturally blending into one another. Electric Green pairs with more hot pink on the forefoot portion of the outsole, complemented by inverted insoles featuring those same two colors.

As for the tech, the Alphafly 3 is the full embodiment of a “super shoe.” It features a ZoomX midsole, a full-length carbon fiber Flyplate, two forefoot Air Zoom pods, and a breathable AtomKnit 3.0 upper. The sneaker weighs just 218g in a men’s size 10 and features an 8mm heel-to-toe drop.

Importantly, assuming Nike sticks to its established cadence, we should be getting the Nike Alphafly 4 sometime in 2026. No official information has come down yet, but it’s possible the Swoosh is waiting for major marathons to begin in March. That’s to say if you can stave off buying a new pair for a little longer, Nike might make it worth your while.

This multicolor Nike Alphafly 3 is due out Spring/Summer 2026 for $305 USD in men’s sizes. See official images below if you’re moved to cop.
