Check their “Lunar New Year” collection for proof, a commemorative chance to spotlight some of the faces that’ve entered the party as of late, from the 2010, to the 2000, to the 204L.
Though not tied to any significant juncture on the calendar, the New Balance “Dusk Shower” pack that’s just populated their launch calendar proves another, bringing together the fashion-forward New Balance 204L and the heritage-twisting New Balance 2010. Identical palettes of “Dusk Shower/Blue Bird/Reflection” play out on either, with the 204L pinning those aquatic shades on its mesh foundation before shifting to neutral suede overlays and a gum sole. Inverting that formula, the 2010 offers up some of its most radical blocking we’ve seen to date, smoothing out all of the panels in its upper, adding two-tone rope laces, and planting vivid blue ABZORB pods as a contrast note in the heel.
The New Balance “Dusk Shower” pack releases via NewBalance.com on January 29th, with the 204L on offer for $120 and the 2010 for $160. A paired New Balance T500 will also be arriving simultaneously. Check out official images below.
