Official Images Of The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Olympic”

Nike’s run of Air Max 95 Big Bubble releases continues with a blast from the past – the first-ever retro of the Air Max 95 “Olympic” from 2004.

Created for the Athens games, this style is loud and proud about sporting its theme, blowing up the five Olympic ring colors across the lace loops and leather side overlays. The Greek flag, historically adorned with a gold crown, appears on the tongue oval underneath gold Air Max branding. All remaining panels come in white leather, matched by a white midsole featuring a clear Air units. Just like recent retros like the Air Max 95 “Neon,” this Big Bubble style is actually a fairly accurate recreation of the original tooling. The model did indeed feature the larger, seamed Air unit when these came out in 2004, which was shortly before Nike changed course to a more environmentally friendly setup.

We’re genuinely curious to see how these will be received. Sure the OG is a grail, but people might not be willing to drop nearly $200 on a sneaker that’s damn near impossible to pull off, despite its history. Still, for many, this is one of the best Air Max 95s of all time.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Olympic” doesn’t have a release date yet, but all indications suggest a Spring/Summer 2026 drop. See official images below if you’re considering hopping on the nostalgia train.
