Nike Goes Back To The ’70s With An Air Force 1 “Glam Rock” Pack

Nike has let its hair down with an Air Force 1 pack consisting of two styles featuring shades of glam rock, both of which are available NOW via the Nike website.

The pack’s nickname is an unofficial one, but one can’t help but think of David Bowie, Mötley Crüe, and other bands and performers whose sounds defined the ’70s and ’80s. Matching those groups’ flamboyant attitudes and stage outfits, the pack makes consistent use of glittery overlays and retro-inspired branding. The tongue tag, heel, and insoles all feature gothic text, while the AF1 lace dubrae is tweaked with a chain around the border for added edge.

Two colorways make up the pack, a “Black/White” as well as an even more eye-catching “Black/Bold Berry” with gold overlays. Both are available now via the Nike website for $125 USD. See our Where To Buy sections below for purchase links.
