Comme des Garçons typically deploys all of its subsidiaries for Fashion Week, spreading its shoe collaborations across those diffusion lines to dominate the sneaker scene every FW and SS showing. After stealing the shoe with the CDG Jordan 11s, they’re also partnering with fellow Japanese imprint ASICS for yet another all-white and all-black take on a tech runner.
Given their penchant for a rather non-descript all-white and all-black, there’s not much description to offer. The GEL-1130, one of the brand’s most well-performing lifestyle shoes due to its sharp design and palatable price-point, CDG sticks with the leather and mesh build and floods it head to toe in the contrasting monochromes. Comme des Garçons SHIRT is sprinkled generously, appearing on the heel, tongue, and co-branded insoles.
Much like their juxtaposition of all-white and all-black, Comme des Garçons typically draws a hate-it-or-love-it response. The fashion fanbase never fails in kneeling in awe of their unflinching ways, while the other does not find any appeal. It’s that distinction, however, that allows Comme des Garçons to be one of the most consistent collaborators in shoe history.
If you are interested, expect to launch in late 2026 or early 2027 with a MSRP well-above the standard $120.
