Andrew Rizzo Few colors are more central to the story of Nike than “Volt,” the shade that helped steal the spotlight away from adidas at the 2012 Olympics and has since become a go-to in the Nike Running category. The latest sneaker to enter the “Volt” canon isn’t a runner or even a Nike model at all, but the lifestyle-oriented Jordan Trunner O/S.
Official images reveal a Volt mesh upper and outsole paired with a white leather mudguard and midsole. The quarter cage comes in white with University Blue paint splatter, matched by additional blue hits on the laces, tongue, and heel clip. Metallic detailing on the toe box and tongue/heel ribboning adds another lively touch.
