Matt Varga Leveraging Jalen Hurts’ star power and hosting a wide-ranging NYC activation surrounding the all-new Trunner O/S let the retro runner take the spotlight as Mike’s first off-court vertical returned to the spotlight. Given that marketing push, it’s easy for the Jordan Trunner LX, the earnest torch-bearer in bringing Jumpman DNA off of the hardwood, to get lost in the shuffle.
However, don’t mistake its more low-key promotional effort for it being left out of the mix entirely. Indeed, new shots of the Jordan Trunner LX “Light Iron Ore” prove that the silhouette is still very much a part of the Jumpman’s plans for 0226, and this colorway delivers some new ecological punch. Work your way down from the comprehensively neutral mix in the uppers to see speckled traction embedded under the heel and forefoot, an application of “Grind” manufacturing that recycles and reapplies discarded rubber, adding some “green” trim in what’s otherwise an entirely calm arrangement.
As a general release product, the Jordan Trunner LX “Light Iron Ore” doesn’t have a hard-and-fast release date at the time of this writing. You can expect these to arrive sometime in the Spring ’26 window (from now to March). Women’s sizing and a $135 retail price are likely.
