The Costco Dunks may have set the internet ablaze with a shock drop, but can Costco do a laser flip? Didn’t think so. For those who actually live by the board, Dashawn Jordan’s Nike SB Dunk Low is arguably the best SB Dunk of the year, combining awesome storytelling with a design that looks great even without context.
Dashawn Jordan dreamed up this sneaker long before getting down to the nitty gritty. The Arizona native has long wanted to drop a Dunk featuring retro Arizona Diamondbacks colors, so as to match the 2001 World Series cap he wears daily. Safe to say Dashawn and co. killed the assignment. The sneaker features a black suede base and snakeskin overlays that promise to wear in beautifully over time. Bright Spruce and Fierce Purple hits on the lining/backtab carry the D-Backs connection, while a copperhead lace dubrae leads the special touches.
