Andrew Rizzo Some may have been caught by surprise the other day by official images of an A Ma Maniére collaboration on the Nike V5 RNR, a somewhat unexpected detour for the brand given its close ties and extensive body of work with Jordan Brand. It’s now clear that the sneaker is part of a larger pack featuring collaborations by other Whitaker Group retailers, continued here with two styles by Social Status.
The V5 RNR is a low-cost, $90 runner that debuted at the top of 2025, and all indications are that it’s performed quite well as a more affordable alternative to the quintessential Vomero 5. Social Status has two collaborative styles on tap, one done in monochrome “Geode Teal” and another featuring a multicolor palette comparable to AMM’s effort. Official images reveal a white mesh base, Shadowberry pink Swooshes, and iridescent Deep Pewter Blue leather across the forefoot.
Four retailers sit under the Whitaker Group umbrella: A Ma Maniére, Social Status, APB, and JAIDE. All are currently expected to release their own Nike V5 RNR styles. We’ll circle back with release info as soon as more details emerge.
