Matt Varga Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike are turning back the clock. Though other collaborators eclipse the subversive imprint in sheer quantity, it’s hard to argue that many have been able to make a splash in the same way as CPFM has since about the turn of the decade. One of their most viral sensations is now on the way back, with a twist — the Cactus Plant Flea Market Air Flea 1 returns to shelves this holiday season.
Given the creative license afforded to Cynthia Lu’s label in their reduxes of the Vapormax, Air Force 1, and Dunk Low previous to it, the dawn of the Air Flea as a “signature” model was only a natural step, resulting in the extremely experimental “Overgrown” and a “Barley” colorway that was walked back from a public release due to production issues.
Thus, this will really mark the first release of the default build, now expected to run back that earthy edition and tee off a fresh “Black/Sail.” On a strategic level, the retro of the Air Flea 1 follows the same treatment for the white and black Uptempo-tinted Air Force 1 Low, something that also manifested in novel color-ups for that silhouette in “Market Moss” and “Fuchsia Dream.”
At this juncture, all we know regarding these two colorways of the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 1 is that they’ll touch down during the Holiday ’26 window (from October to the end of the year) with $180 sticker prices attached.
