While the upcoming WNBA season is far from a given with ongoing CBA negotiations reportedly a distance apart between players and ownership, nothing is stopping Angel Reese’s star turn. Even if the Chicago Sky end up impacted, her crossover fame off the court, impending Unrivaled return, and the FIBA World Cup this fall mean there’s ample opportunity for Bayou Barbie to make an impact undeterred.

Of course, true to form, our eyes are particularly fixed on footwear. Rather than the drop-by-drop cadence they’ve leaned into to date, Reebok has just unveiled three colorways of the Angel Reese 1 fans can look forward to in the coming months, with the “Navy Halo” being the final of the trio. Though not depicted with every angle accounted for, the overall layout is still legible; the exterior and sole unit are joined in moody navy, leaving the interiors and lace unit in pure white for a genuinely stark profile. Overall, it’s an expression of the aesthetic boundary-pushing the Angel Reese 1 has dipped into as the months have gone by, a more creative application than some of the monochromatic introductory colorways that brought the shoe to the public initially.

The Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Navy Halo” is part of Reebok’s officially announced Spring/Summer set for the model; though a concrete date hasn’t been attached yet, expect these between now and the end of the Summer shopping season (July). The usual $130 retail price is set for adult sizing.
