Sneaker News Nike is hyper-focused on “Neon” for the Air Max Month celebration in March. Alongside the return of the Air Max 95 “Neon”, the Swoosh has outfitted several adjacent Air Max styles with the same grey/neon color-palette, extending the reach of the iconic colorway across several other models. This is hardly the first time this method has been in practice, but it’s hard to ignore the emphasis of this strategy in 2026.
Nike is dipping outside the usual category and tapping the SB wing to join in. While we can’t rule out an SB Dunk or Blazer to join the fray, we know for certain that the only Air Max skate shoe will be part of the festivities come March 5th. The Air Max Ishod, the signature shoe for Nike SB pro rider Ishod Wair, will be dropping in a familiar scheme, deploying the grey-gradient on the upper with the right hits of the vibrant yellowish-green on the lace eyelets, Air unit, and lock-down structure beneath the mesh upper. Suedes and leathers are in the mix to closely match the Air Max 95s presence.
While a firm release date has not yet been revealed, it’s expected that all of Nike’s “Neon” Air Max 95 cosplayers will hit on March 5th. However, skateshops such as Primary Skateboards in Canada already have them in stock.
