Don’t look now, but the biggest circuit in varsity hoops is inching closer. Though the official “Sessions” in the EYBL slate don’t open until April in Atlanta, junior events are just around the corner, set to begin in March via a weekend-long Memphis showcase. For future league-hopefuls, it’s an unbelievable opportunity to hone skills and spar with the best the AAU world has to offer.

For us, it’s always a reliable source of eye-catching player-exclusive fare. The first seeds of the 2026 EYBL slate now come into view with the Nike KD 18 PE at hand, a poetic twist given that an ode to the circuit already hit public hands during the silhouette’s market run. Perhaps taking a cue from label-mate Ja Morant, this version sees Kevin Durant dabble in mismatch aesthetics, made clear with a split light green/royal blue outsole, but also as the Terra Humara-inspired cages invert the same tonality on the lateral and medial sides. Of course, no EYBL colorway would be complete without stamping its purpose, and this pair makes that abundantly clear. EYBL tags run down the tongue, while its circular logo sits on the right shoe before shifting to the KD brand on the left.
