Much like a middle child, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has to do a little extra to stand out. And to its credit, it does so quite often. The latest mold-breaking style to hit the ‘net switches things up with a number of key texture swaps, paring back the model’s hoops DNA in favor of a softer, cottagecore-leaning aesthetic.

Eyes are first drawn to the Swooshes, where intricate crocheted fabric replaces the standard branding. The lateral Swooshes appear in Olive Aura and University Blue, while the medial side mixes Olive Aura with orange. The toe box and quarter are built with a Pearl White woven fabric, while the tongue and collar shift to Pearl White canvas for even more textural depth. Olive Aura leather overlays complete the upper, complemented by a Pearl White midsole and brown outsole underfoot.
