Anthony Edwards’ adidas Believe That 1 “Lucid Blue” Drops This Summer

Returning to a Minnesota-inspired look.

Anthony Edwards’ adidas Believe That 1 “Lucid Blue” Drops This Summer

The best of times, the worst of times. The Minnesota Timberwolves secured a commanding 3-1 lead in their series against the Nuggets, with particular thanks to a blistering performance from Ayo Dosunmu, but lost their starting backcourt in the process.

The road ahead for Anthony Edwards and his squad is uncertain as the Georgia product likely faces a multi-week recovery. Yet off of the hardwood, there’s reason for celebration. His signature line is now branching off, ushering in the adidas Believe That 1 into the mix as a cost-conscious alternative to his earnest tentpole products. After officially revealing the shoe in pregame warm-ups just days ago, previews of what the model has in store are coming fast and furious.

With the model knowingly nodding to the adidas AE1 Low in terms of its side cages and its overall shape, it’s no surprise that further inspo comes from that shoe’s color palettes. A Wolves-approved “Lucid Blue,” now a trademark look across both the 1 and the 2, decorates the Believe That 1, replete with flooded blue uppers and neon green interplay on the tongue logo and peeking through the side.

Exactly when to expect the adidas Anthony Edwards Believe That 1 in “Lucid Blue” is a bit murkier. Retail outlets don’t seem to agree on whether an April 1st or April 8th debut is in the works, but an $80 retail price in adult sizing and a $70 sticker price for kids’ pairs is confirmed. We’ll keep this article updated with official launch details once tied down.
