On the first day of the second round and the eve of Thunder-Lakers, Converse posted a new teaser to social media, pinning Shai’s gothic logo atop a stainless steel backdrop, with a winking caption reading “Round Two Loading.” With little information to go on beyond that, it’s hardly clear whether this is an indication that SGA’s sequel is imminent, or if this could simply mark a new step in the Converse Shai 001 journey. Notably, the reigning MVP has worn several two-tone editions and a new lace-up build toward the end of the regular season and as the playoffs began; that remains the biggest area for innovation if a full silhouette reveal isn’t the mission here.
