The curtain has closed on the adidas x Fear of God Athletics partnership, with Jerry Lorenzo confirming its end late last year after a run that never quite found its footing. Still, sneaker pipelines don’t stop on a dime, and adidas is pressing ahead with the adidas Fear of God Athletics III, effectively serving as the final chapter for the collaboration as it rolls out in multiple colorways.

Following the “Beige” colorway in March, this “Cinder” edition arrives for May, once again leaning into FOG’s established elevated, contemporary design language. A grey-tinged upper sets the tone, paired with clean white and cream-colored soles featuring radial traction.

The adidas x Fear of God Athletics III Basketball “Cinder” is slated to release May 2026 for $180. If history is any indication, this might be one worth waiting on if you’re hoping to catch a discount.
