This Reebok DMX Series 3000 Is Inspired By Traditional Japanese Cloths

Japanese retailers mita sneakers and Marquee Player have joined forces with Reebok on a three-way collaboration, adding another strong entry to the growing DMX Series 3000 lineup.

The sneaker is said to take inspiration from tenugui (手拭い), traditional Japanese cloths made from thin cotton. A grey, cement-like finish covers the midsole, while the upper features white netting and subtle red accents at the front and back. There are also nods to the number three in reference to the model’s three DMX bladders, namely a tricolor palette, three cranes on the insoles, and the three-party nature of the collaboration itself.

This is one of a few strong DMX Series 3000 releases we’ve seen so far, joined by a Packer-exclusive launch colorway and a striking gradient look by Brain Child. The DMX Series 3000 is a revamped version of the DMX Miramar from the ’90s, equipped with DMX moving air technology in the heel and DMX Comfort+ foam in the forefoot.

The mita sneakers x Marquee Player x Reebok DMX Series 3000 is available now via Reebok for $130, currently marked down to $100 with the listed discount code. See our Where To Buy section below to cop.
