A$AP Rocky and PUMA are continuing to expand their growing footwear partnership with the introduction of a new slip-on silhouette perfect for the warmer months ahead. Scheduled to launch on May 21st, the upcoming PUMA Mostro Mule evolves Rocky’s 3.D. Mostro into a more relaxed, summer-ready form.

The Mostro Mule essentially serves as a backless reinterpretation of the Mostro 3.D., the experimental silhouette first introduced back in September 2024. While the original Mostro 3.D. stood out thanks to its sculptural shape and aggressive outsole tooling, the Mule version retains nearly all of the same structural elements while removing the heel entirely for an easier slip-on experience.

Two launch colorways are currently expected to arrive at retail; the first features a blue-to-black gradient finish dubbed the “Blue Glimmer,” while the second opts for a stealthier all-black execution. Both pairs are accented by subtle red hits on the PUMA branding located on the upper, helping break up the otherwise dark-toned presentations.

The release continues Rocky’s ongoing effort to push PUMA deeper into fashion-forward and experimental territory, particularly through silhouettes that blur the lines between futurism and practical lifestyle wear. Since partnering with the brand, the Harlem-born artist has helped position PUMA’s newer footwear concepts within broader conversations surrounding style, motorsport aesthetics, and avant-garde streetwear. There is, of course, more to come.

The A$AP Rocky x PUMA Mostro Mule is currently scheduled to release on May 21st via PUMA for $250 each.
