It’s nearly time for the World Cup, and logistical challenges around the New York metro area aside, our attention has been squarely affixed on Nike’s ongoing efforts. Yes, the Nike Cryoshot conversation has taken up much of the air in the room, but don’t count out some of their more accessible odes to teams vying to lift the trophy in mid-July.

The Nike Total 90 III has been whetting our appetites for soccer style edits for more than a year already. Now, it’s narrowing it’s focus. A literally soccer-inspired pair has headed the conceptual end, while a version crafted for Croatia is arguably the more relevant recent development.

Following the Eastern European edition comes the Nike Total 90 III “Brazil,” issuing country-approved blue and yellow across the medial sides and throughout the various branding hits. Anchoring that choice is a silvery lateral exterior that mirrors the on-court flash associated with its performance build. Though any earnest Brazilian call-outs aren’t included here, there’s no denying the ties to the Southern Hemisphere, perfect for any watch parties, or if you’re lucky, in-person action you might be catching in the weeks to come.

Speaking of, expect the Nike Total 90 III “Brazil” to touch down within that same timeframe, landing sometime during the World Cup festivities. The usual $130 retail price is expected at that juncture.
