Nike Murders Out The Mind 001 Slide In All Black

A sleeker overhaul for the viral slide.

Nike Murders Out The Mind 001 Slide In All Black

When all is said and done this year, no doubt we’ll be looking back as the Nike Mind 001 as one of Beaverton’s biggest successes of 2026. While it’ll take more sustained success to join perennials like the Vomero 5 or Air Force 1, it’s only right that the tentpole product is now looking to essential colorways to fill out the catalog along more visually arresting fare.

In that realm, there’s nothing more distilled in the Nike universe than the “Triple Black,” something that the Mind 001 now approaches with a “Black/Anthracite” variation. With previous pairs taking on highlighter shades like “Hyper Crimson,” “Geode Teal,” or “Solar Red,” this and a similar white-dominant variation signal calmer seas for the Mind 001. Whether that’s motivated by the node tech being solidified in the head of the consumer, no longer necessitating such aesthetic highlights, or just as a way to bring more accessible colorways to bear, this slides in as one of the more easily worn editions we’ve seen to date.

The Nike Mind 001 “Black/Anthracite” doesn’t have a firm release date, but expect new batches of Mind 001 and Mind 002 colorways to populate the calendar throughout the year. Once tied to a specific date, be ready for the usual $95 retail price.
