In post-game comments following the game, the USC product described how the grade schooler was “the young black girl [she] wanted to see,” further aligning that game-worn moment with a connection to her inner child and the drive to win alongside “her sisters.”
For round two, Ms. Carmichael’s dress remains the focal point, with interspersed purple florals lining this bright yellow pair. Flares of red through the Swoosh, pull tabs, and other trim elements round out, all the better to align with the Aces’ jerseys from that night. A W against the Valks only makes this edition all the sweeter.
The aforementioned A’One is doubly relevant as we speculate on a potential retail release; that shoe remained exclusive to the perennial MVP candidate. While PE-to-public drops have picked up in frequency over the past few years, we’re expecting the same to be true for this Nike A’Two.
