Sneaker News K-Swiss has built serious momentum in recent months, the brand continuing to partner with Anwar Carrots on its Racquet Club line and recently checking off a string of collaborations with up-and-coming creative Rakeem Miles. While there’s much to be excited about as the brand continues charting its path forward, today’s headline is all about the past. K-Swiss is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a fresh batch of Racquet Club styles for summer, packed with heritage but still managing to check off a first. Five models are included, among them the Hypercourt Express 3, a performance tennis sneaker making its first-ever appearance in a KSRC collection and a fresh face alongside the brand’s usual archival staples. This on-court performance model boasts the brand’s Surgelite+ with a CMEVA Midsole engineered specifically for winning sets and serves. Then, the brand’s deep archives and sportswear catalog comes into play. The Before the Classic once again plays a leading role dressed in a rich blue suede with white leather stripes and gum bottoms. It’s joined by the Konejo runner featuring silver overlays for that tech-y edge, while other staples like the Classic 66, and the GSTAAD round out the collection. All five are anchored by a heritage-inspired red, white, and blue colorway nicknamed “Corporate,” the shades varying in usage across the pack. Red and gold sock liners are included with each pair, as are commemorative 60th anniversary charms.
