Nike’s celebration of the New York Knicks doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Following the launch of the Air Force 1 NYC earlier this summer and the introduction of Knicks-inspired options through Nike By You, yet another New York-themed Air Force 1 has surfaced. This latest edition continues Nike’s ongoing tribute to the city following the Knicks’ historic and unforgettable 2026 NBA Championship run,
The design embraces New York’s signature basketball colors and the city’s trend-setting ways. A clean white leather upper serves as the foundation, while alternating blue and orange Swoosh logos add a clear nod to the city’s beloved franchise. Nike NYC branding appears on the tongue labels, joined by special “2026” embroidery at the heel executed in the same style as the familiar John Jay-designed logo.
The tribute extends beyond the exterior because the insoles feature a heavily pixelated image of Madison Square Garden’s interior, accompanied by both the Nike NYC and 2026 branding. The details connect the shoe directly to the championship season and the venue that served as the epicenter of New York basketball throughout the year.

Perhaps the most notable detail for longtime Air Force 1 enthusiasts is the construction itself. Seeing the significance of this drop, Nike has opted for the recently revealed Air Force 1 2001 shape, a specification favored by many collectors for its closer resemblance to releases of earlier eras.
Digging a little deeper, the release of this Air Force 1 Low could be referencing a Promo Sample that surfaced a decade ago, although the 2026 version has some significant differences (the blue bottoms, the white “AIR” vs. the blue).

For now, a release date remains unknown, although the pair is expected to carry a retail price of $140. It’s clear that Nike aims to continue its investment in New York-themed product, so it would not be surprising to see more Knicks-themed goods throughout the summer.
Images of the sneaker first surfaced via retailer Sneaker Room before being quickly removed. In other Swoosh hoops news, heres the latest on the Caitlin Clark shoes.
