Amidst a sea of wacky, experimental Nike styles unveiled at Paris Fashion Week comes a genuine gem. The Nike Air Bakin, itself on the cusp of a proper retro run, is set to take on an all-new low-top build for Spring/Summer 2027.
Shown here for the first time, the Air Bakin Low retains the same midsole shape as the High but with a far shorter and noticeably different upper. Leather side panels featuring web-like cutouts replace the curved lines seen on the high, the toe cap comes in hairy suede, while the same diamond-shaped tongue badge from the High is also utilized. Two Nike ACG-esque colorways have surfaced as of this writing, one in green/purple and another in beige/blue/purple.
The Nike Air Bakin Low doesn’t have a release date yet, but the model was previewed as part of Nike Sportswear’s Spring/Summer 2027 showcase. We’ll circle back as soon as we have more info to report.
