Nike Sportswear may be preparing to introduce an entirely new chapter in one of its most beloved boot franchises. Recently revealed by longtime Nike insider Frank Cooke, this previously unseen silhouette appears to combine elements of the Air Max Goadome with Foamposite technology, leading us to believe the model is a sequel to the Nike Foamposite Boot aka “FoamDome” the Nike Foamposite Boot.
The sneaker, officially called the Nike Goadome Low Foamposite SP, retains the familiar full-length Air Max tooling associated with the Air Max Goadome, one of Nike’s trendier boot silhouettes given its emphatic re-issue last Holiday season. Sitting atop that foundation is an all-new Foamposite shell featuring sculpted grooves, exposed carbon fiber through the midfoot, and miniature reverse Swoosh logos embedded into the design.
The debut colorway immediately recalls one of Foamposite’s most celebrated finishes, with the shimmering purple hue reminiscent of the legendary “Eggplant” Foamposite One. The upper contrasts against black interiors and black sole units for a distinctly early-2000s Nike Sportswear aesthetic.
Much like all Nike boots and Foamposite issues, the shoe feels tailor-made for regions where boot culture remains deeply ingrained in everyday style. Cities such as New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. have long embraced rugged footwear during the colder months, helping establish the Air Max Goadome as a seasonal staple when it was essentially relaunched last winter. A Foamposite Goadome Low represents a natural extension of Nike’s recent strategy, blending two cult-favorite franchises into a single silhouette much like how the Foamposite Boot stole the scene upon its debut in 2008.
For now, a release is expected this Spring 2027 season for $200.
