You Can Now Sell Used Sneakers On StockX

Huge news.

You Can Now Sell Used Sneakers On StockX

eBay and GOAT just got put on notice. StockX, the world’s most widely-known sneaker resale platform, is staking its claim in the used sneaker market with StockX Listings, a new hub built around used sneakers and apparel.

This is huge news for resellers and buyers alike, especially for anyone who already treats StockX as their go-to for selling deadstock. The used and vintage fashion market is projected to hit somewhere between $300B and $400B by 2030, and with 30 million-plus monthly visitors already in the fold, StockX enters with infrastructure already in place and a massive base of career resellers ready to flip the switch. The space is currently led by the likes of eBay and GOAT, the latter of which also owns Grailed and Flight Club.

Here’s how it works:

– AI-powered listing tech pre-fills used product details from photos for easy listing.
– Used sneakers appear in the “Listings” tab as well as StockX Verified product pages, showing deadstock and used options in one view.
– StockX’s market data (total sales, average resale price, etc.) carries over to Listings, adapted for used products.
– Verification is optional: items ship directly from seller to buyer, though buyers can opt to have items routed through the StockX authentication center for an added fee.

StockX Listings is live now on the StockX app. Sellers are limited for the time being, but StockX plans to expand access to its broader community over the coming months.
