That collision of the old guard and rising stars makes this year’s WNBA All-Star Weekend as notable as it’s ever been. Nike is keenly aware of the moment, teeing off a Sportswear collection ahead of the end-of-July event. Adding to potential celebrants in the Jordan 4 “Birds of Paradise” and Jordan Heir Series 2 of the same name are shimmering versions of the Air Force 1 and Air Max 95, united in chrome overtones and aqua trim.
Interestingly, though internal Nike info confirms that these have the purpose we’re reporting, there’s no WNBA branding attached to either of these shoes. Perhaps it’s an indication of what the jerseys for this year’s festivities could have in store.
