The monochromatic colorway arrives as part of the brand’s Team Bank series, and although there was no deeper intent than creating a simple edition of the shoes, the triple white is a bit symbolic given the changes surrounding one of basketball’s most electrifying stars. Throughout its run, the Ja 3 has been anything but understated, consistently leaned into bold graphics and high-energy storytelling that reflected Morant’s explosive style of play. Dressed entirely in white, the shoe takes on a noticeably cleaner and more restrained look while opening opportunities for sneaker customizations by the most adept craftsmen.
As Morant turns the page on a turbulent stretch that included injuries and off-court setbacks, the Ja 3 also appears to be nearing the end of its own lifecycle ahead of the expected arrival of the fourth Ja Morant shoes. Team Bank releases are typically geared toward schools and team programs, but this particular colorway doubles as a fitting bookend to one of Nike Basketball’s most expressive signature models.
The Nike Ja 3 Team Bank “White” is scheduled to release this July for $125.
