Write Like I’m Book: Devin Booker Is Now An Author

Devin Booker’s journey to becoming a Nike signature athlete is getting the coffee-table treatment.

Rizzoli has officially announced In My Shoes: Hardwood to Concrete, a new hardcover book chronicling the Phoenix Suns star’s lifelong passion for sneakers and the creative process behind the Nike Book 1. The volume offers a behind-the-scenes look at how one of basketball’s biggest sneaker enthusiasts helped bring his signature model to life.

Booker reflects on everything from sketching sneakers as a child to realizing his dream of joining Nike’s exclusive signature roster alongside icons like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James. The book also documents the evolution of the Book 1 through concept sketches, an unparalled run of Player Exclusives, and collaborations with influential creatives including Tom Sachs, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Futura, and Mister Cartoon.

Part memoir and part design archive, Devin Booker’s In My Shoes is set to launch on September 8th on Rizzoli.
