Cream Canvas Makes For A Stüssy Vibe On This Nike Air Max 95

Reminiscent of the streetwear brand's "Fossil" collaborations.

Nike is toying with non-traditional textures on a new Air Max 95 “Big Bubble” release for Fall 2026, forgoing the model’s usual suede-heavy construction for a compelling canvas build.

Per our title, we’re immediately reminded of Stüssy’s run of Nike collaborations from the early 2020s, which saw canvas-heavy “Fossil” takes on the Air Force 1, Air Penny 2, Air Max 2013, and Air Spiridon Cage 2. This Air Max 95 is no collaboration by any stretch, but it slots into similar aesthetic territory all the same. The canvas treatment covers the entire upper, from the side paneling to the tongue to the underlays just beneath the lace loops. The color palette reads nearly monochrome in “Cream II/Light Orewood Brown/Newsprint/Moon Fossil,” broken up just a tad by a silver spine.
