However, beyond that single silhouette, it’s also the 40th birthday of the product line as a whole, inspiring more diverse festivities already confirmed to include the Air Max 90 “Square Toe.” Before those experimental treatments tee off, the Nike Air Max 90 “Old Royal” offers a chance to enjoy Tinker Hatfield’s design in the here and now, one of a few flooded colorways to hit the newswire. Keeping to the standard leather and mesh base, the entire shoe is wrapped head to toe in this cerulean shade, a head-turning arrangement on a model that skews understated in most general release applications.
The Nike Air Max 90 “Old Royal” should be touching down sometime in the coming weeks, retailing for $135 in women’s sizing.
