Vaulting into the upper echelon of high fashion, Jacquemus has never been at a loss for A++-list endorsers. Everyone from Bad Bunny to Beyoncé has appeared in the French designer’s handiwork, yet he’s minted a wider smash in his relationship with Nike. Yes, of course their Cryoshot effort upholds that, but it’s their co-designed, slouchy Moon Shoe that’s been the breakout, a darling of the secondary market and spotted on Rihanna and Victor Wembanyama in recent months.
As general audiences and glitterati alike line up for now two collections under the Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe label, we may just be getting an indication of more from that partnership. In a June dump from the namesake Simon Porte Jacquemus, we caught our first look at a baby blue flip of the collab silhouette, easily the most expressive we’ve seen to date. Past pairs, even those in proud “University Red” or delicate “Aluminum Pink,” have been simple palette swaps with steady anchoring like neutral Swooshes.
Here, that dreamy aquamarine foundation is joined by an ostrich leather teal Swoosh, with lace clips mirroring that delicate tonality. Otherwise, the hallmarks that have made past colorways such massive successes, from serrated suede lace units to the crinkled fabric body to a gum sole underfoot, remain, portending well for the performance of this colorway once it hits public hands.
To that end, we can confirm that this Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe is in the plans for a 2026/26 release. Further info regarding more pairs isn’t confirmed yet, but following past drops, additional colors are very likely.
