Information regarding a Nike SB Foamposite One has now surfaced via sneakermarket.ro, indicating a Spring 2027 launch with a “Black/White/Team Red” palette, clocking in at $240. To state the obvious, the headline here is so unexpected because of the potential challenges in adapting the tank-like silhouette for skate purposes. To be sure, Nike SB has continually pushed the envelope with its crossover adaptations. As news of the Nike SB Air Max 95 came down, many wondered how the chunky platform of that shoe would take to board sports, yet we’re continuing to hear from the modified 110 all the same.
Yet many of the changes that helped the Air Max 95 and the Air Force 1 meet the moment would be nigh impossible on the Foamposite without a radical makeover. The Uptown, by way of example, reduced its sole unit, changed to slouchier materiality, and added padded collars. Doing the same for the silhouette here would be a challenge, to say the least. Finally, the early info source here includes an important callout and a piece of speculation: Supreme has already looked to retro basketball for a similar effort, ushering the CB Max ’94 into its canon in 2025. Perhaps this is just another chapter in the subversive label’s story.
