Andrew Rizzo Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” is the movie of the summer, a sweeping adaptation of Homer’s epic that has already delivered the director’s biggest worldwide box office debut. The millennia-old tale is reimagined through a modern lens and brought to life by a star-studded cast, with few appearances more unexpected than Travis Scott’s. The rapper plays a blind bard and storyteller who uses song to narrate Odysseus’s journey, though acting chops were not the only thing he brought to the production.
During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Scott unveiled a custom Nike ACG Moc gifted to members of the cast, one of the perks that comes with having a premier Nike partner involved. Cast-exclusive sneakers are nothing new for the Swoosh, with special pairs famously made for stars of “Seinfeld,” “Friends,” and several other television shows and movies over the years.
This ranks among the more compelling cast-exclusive Nikes we’ve seen, and not simply because of the name attached. The Nike ACG Moc here sports a maroon pony hair exterior and a gold accessory at the heel, both nodding to the helmet worn by Scott’s character. The reveal comes just days after he debuted an all-new Travis Scott Nike Moon Shoe on the red carpet, featuring a matching aesthetic with reverse pony hair Swooshes.
While “The Odyssey” has indeed birthed plenty of Travis Scott sneaker news in recent weeks, we also recently caught wind of a Travis Scott Air Force 1 releasing Fall 2026. It will be joined by a reverse Swoosh take on the Nike Zoom Vapor 12 HC tennis sneaker, a new direction for the partnership expected to coincide with the US Open later this summer.
