The Scarr’s Pizza x Nike Air Force 1, a 2019 friends-and-family pair by the LES slice joint that once commanded more than $100,000 at auction, may finally be inching toward a public release. Detailed images of a previously unseen sample bearing the shop’s new address have surfaced online, lending fresh credibility to a rumor cycle that began exactly two years ago.
Images shared by @collectors_closet reveal what is essentially a faithful reproduction of the 2019 pair, now updated with Scarr’s new 35 Orchard Street address on the tongue following the restaurant’s move across the street in 2023. Nearly every other defining element remains intact, including the mismatched, double-stacked Swooshes, pebbled leather construction, lateral Scarr’s Pizza branding, and interior graphics. Although Nike has since revived the Air Force 1 in its 2001 shape, this sample appears to retain the same ’07 build used on the original collaboration.
It was exactly two years ago today that Sneaker News exclusively reported that the Scarr’s Pizza x Nike Air Force 1 Low was poised to return. Although the late DJ Clark Kent, who helped design the original shoe, reached out to deny the report, our sources have remained consistent. The rumors gained additional credibility in May 2025, when shop owner Scarr Pimentel appeared at the Complex Family Style Food Fest wearing an unreleased black colorway. Now, another year later, the slowest-moving rumor mill in sneakers has started turning once again with the emergence of the white sample.
No concrete release information for the Scarr’s Pizza x Nike Air Force 1 Low has been announced as of this writing, but we are once again on high alert for any additional context. Here’s hoping we don’t have to wait another whole-ass twelve months this time.
