Andrew Rizzo Bad Bunny’s adidas partnership took a surprising turn earlier this year when the pop superstar outfitted Team Puerto Rico with special BadBo 1.0 Cleats for the World Baseball Classic, a pair that we later learned will eventually receive a public release. To add, this weekend confirmed that the creation wasn’t a one-off. Kiké Hernández, one of several Puerto Rico players who received the original cleated Bad Bunny shoe back in March, took the field in a never-before-seen mint colorway.
The Los Angeles Dodgers super-utility man may have planned to debut his new Bad Bunny cleats earlier in the season, but only recently returned from a Grade 3 left oblique strain that sidelined him for much of the year. Kiké’s new pair features a neutral foundation with mint green accents, the pastel shade landing across the suede side panels and various leather underlays.
