Embarking on an offseason trip to Manila in the Philippines as part of the “Believe That” tour, Ant just so happened to run into Temu versions of some of his biggest NBA foes.
Bootleg versions of Luka Doncic, Stephen Curry, and LeBron James are all represented, all sporting the respective star’s NBA uniform sans official markings. All three are wearing the Anthony Edwards Believe That 1 “Tibay Ng Lahi,” a country-exclusive take on Ant’s debut takedown model. Ant himself is wearing the Anthony Edwards 2 “Magpakitang Gilas,” also available now exclusively in the Philippines.
This has aligned with adidas Basketball marketing schemes for its Minnesota Timberwolves superstar. Often taking an unserious approach while also looping in current trends on the net, adidas has earned a lot of credit for bringing some competition to the industry often dominated by Nike. This latest stunt was very likely inspired by recent NBA star lookalikes that have gone viral on social media.
