The “Laser” AJ1 Low arrives as part of a broader series of homages to Mark Smith’s Laser Project, joined by an Air Jordan 3 inspired by a 1-of-1 created in 2003 as well as the return of the Jordan 4 “Laser” pack in 2027. While the Air Jordan 1 has received “Laser” styles before, namely an Air Jordan 1 High for Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary in 2015, this marks the first time laser-etched graphics have appeared on the Low. The toe, quarter, and lower eyestay all sport intricate laser-etched graphics, while the toe box, Swoosh, and heel paneling all clean up in black nubuck. University Red hits appear on the tongue and backtab branding, while a white midsole and brown gum outsole cap the look off underfoot.
