If you subscribe to the “boots theory,” where what may seem like cost-conscious purchases in the moment end up more expensive in the long run, then New Balance’s “Made in” series may be exactly up your alley. If you simply need a new pair of everyday “dad shoes,” the 1906R and 9060 remain at your service. By contrast, the Teddy Santis-helmed Made in USA line and the Flimby-based Made in UK series have provided the American giant’s fanbase with cut-above, premium treatments for years now.
We recently covered the full breadth of the New Balance Made in USA Fall/Winter 2026 slate, and the ALD head’s attachment to that program has made it appointment viewing for New Balance diehards.
