Tiger is on the menu to begin the season for Clemson and LSU, and on top of the branding and positioning similarities that’ve spurred their cross-conference “rivalry” for some time, they may still have more in common when they take the field.
Our dedicated readership will know that LSU recently debuted their own version of the Nike Vaporposite Pro, an on-field adaptation of the iconic Foamposite that’s clearly been a priority for Nike Football this year. Firing back, Clemson has now done the same, flexing a Vaporposite Pro in traditional “Away style.” A white body and collar should align with the team’s unis come Saturday. Orange spike platforms and laces hit on more famous team coloring, consistent with the paw print stamp on the very rear. Finally, a glistening purple Swoosh hits on a seldom-used trademark tone.
