Matt Varga Don’t look now, but the Nike Book 3 era could be coming sooner than you think. It truly feels like yesterday that Devin’s second signature was revealed, but info surrounding it started to trickle out of Beaverton in November of 2025. With many of its signature looks already established, from a spree of Detroit-focused homages to the ongoing collaborative series with Chevrolet, the Book 2 is looking to its predecessor for inspo, as a “Desert Night” colorway comes to light.
Clearly taking cues from the Book 1 “Night,” this sequel takes things one step further by blacking out from the collar to the outsole, only utilizing those iridescent tones on its four Swooshes. Taken alongside the Book 2 “Halloween” and the earlier “Hector and Haven,” this is more proof that Devin and the Swoosh design team aren’t afraid to run it back with some of their more successful inventions from Book’s initial sig shoe.
