The Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 Takes On “UCLA” Colors

Eric Avar’s Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 is back in force for the Swoosh, earning high praise from those who witnessed the model’s original 2000s run with a curated assortment centered mainly on original colorways and PEs.

The run continues into Fall/Winter 2026 with a little something new, this time a “UCLA” colorway built on a white foundation with sky blue hits on the toe and heel and a golden yellow midsole. There’s no documented “UCLA” PE or public release of this nature on record, and for that matter, UCLA was an adidas school when the Huarache 2K4 debuted. The strongest connection might be to journeyman NBA guard Earl Boykins, who had a Huarache 2K5 PE in similar colors to match his Denver Nuggets uniform. Whichever connection you prefer to make, the resemblance is uncanny.
