It’s the Boston brand’s hope, we’re guessing, that the new price point will help it reach more people, something it’s also tackling with a strong pipeline of new looks that drive the silhouette down different aesthetic avenues.
Patent leather 2010 styles have been something of a go-to lately, a unique but not unprecedented material choice seen notably on Made in USA collabs like Joe Freshgoods’ 990v4 “Outro” and the upcoming Aminé New Balance 992. This latest edition is done up in black, immediately eye-catching thanks to its liberal, glossy patent leather overlays. Pink Eraser hits on the tongue, spine, and “N” logo background, while taking up only a small percentage of surface area, contribute mightily to the end result.
