Sneaker News Jalen Brunson hosted the Season 52 premiere of Saturday Night Live, giving the New York Knicks one more championship victory lap before turning the page to the 2026-2027 NBA season.
Brunson wasn’t alone for the occasion; during his opening monologue, fellow Knicks starters Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart joined him on stage, bringing the championship starting five together at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
Nike kept the New York basketball theme going through the show’s traditional closing sendoff. Brunson wore a full Nike Sportswear look featuring the Nike Blazy, Primary Tee, 24.7 Barrel Pant, and an upcoming Sportswear Club Campus Jacket.
Musical guest KATSEYE joined him wearing pieces from Nike’s new NBA Standard Issue Collection along with New York City-themed hats. Some of the collection is available now here, with a second drop scheduled for October 12.
