Neither Nike nor Jordan Brand is unfamiliar with the sneakerboot play, n the boot game for that matter, as the urgency behind the Baltoro and the Air Max Goadome have confirmed in the past few seasons. However, in between full-blown conversions and wholly outdoorsy silhouettes, Beaverton has prepped winters versions of their base compositions, again visited with the Air Jordan 1 Mid featured here.

Almost reminding of the Air Force 1 “Subway Rat,” this pair arrives in wall-to-wall shaggy suede, further united in jet black tonality throughout the upper. Two-tone boot laces and hexagonal top aglets that furnish the same aesthetics are where the crossover appeal really begins. Taking cues from thos laces, flares of angry pink add some energy into the mix before a gum sole finishes out this wintery titan.
