FP Movement And Salomon Embark On Their First Collaboration

Womenswear and fashion performance are unquestionably the two verticals in footwear that are growing the quickest. Given that FP Movement, the standalone arm of Free People, sits at the intersection of both, it’s only right that the brand has rapidly become a very in-demand collaborator, teaming up with Brooks, ASICS, and On Running as their out-of-house design resume only grows.

Salomon is the next to seek out FP Movement and their co-sign, as the French company and English imprint team up for a two-shoe collaboration. It’s an ombre-heavy execution for both the XT-Whisper and the XT-6, uniting one of the sneaker company’s newest faces and one of its true staple shoes. On the former, shades of periwinkle and vibrant red collide for an unabashedly expressive overall profile, but this pair still find room for its blushing gradient at its mesh foundation. Conversely, the XT-6 dedicates much of its real estate to a pink fade, leaving its overlays and trim overall in silver and a smattering of greens for a spring-forward edition.
