The PE-to-public-release pipeline is very real, especially when those PEs were originally made for Nike’s favorite school. The University of Oregon’s Nike Air Force 1 Low “Triple Black,” which debuted as a player exclusive in 2025, is officially making the jump to the masses – and it’s available right now on Nike HERE.
We already know Nike co-founder Phil Knight, an Oregon alum and well-documented devotee of all-black attire and footwear, is a fan. The sneaker takes one of the AF1’s most tried-and-true color schemes and gives it a more premium treatment, swapping the standard leather build for a black suede upper with a leather sockliner.
The Oregon connection is relatively understated, led by an “O” logo on the lateral side of the left shoe and the Ducks mascot in the same position on the opposite foot. The PE was originally shown with thick rope laces, though images of the retail version show standard flat laces. We can’t say for sure whether the ropes will be included as an alternate option.
The black Nike Air Force 1 Low “Oregon” is available now on Nike for $125. The green colorway that debuted alongside it is also set to release soon, though the date is still unannounced as of this writing. See our Where to Buy section below for purchase links.
