Jayson Tatum And CNCPTS Join Up Once Again For The Jordan Tatum 5 “Laser”

Thick as thieves once again.

Jayson Tatum And CNCPTS Join Up Once Again For The Jordan Tatum 5 “Laser”

Jayson Tatum is heading into unprecedented territory. Though he’s done his best in public comments and press availability to distance himself from the concept of the Celtics being “his team,” anyone who even casually follows the league knows that he’s entering his first season in Boston without Jaylen Brown by his side. He’ll have a new-look roster around him to do so, but some of his off-the-court partners are holding firm. CNCPTS is one of them, as the Beantown storefront and #0 reconvene for an early launch of the Jordan Tatum 5 “Laser.”

The Jordan 3 “Laser” and Jordan 1 Low OG “Laser” cemented that the etched motif, in heavy use in 2006 and in 2015 for the Jumpman’s 30th anniversary, was back in full force in the modern catalog. Following those Retro iterations, Jayson’s latest performance icon takes on a similar palette, draped in rich browns and tans with fire red flares in the spaces between. Look closer at the upper patterns to see that these take inspiration from the story beats in Tatum’s hoops career to date; etched florals touch on the TD Garden and continue the aesthetics of he and CNCPT’s past intersections.

Again, the Jordan Tatum 5 “Laser” retails at $135, first available via Concepts Boston and on their webstore on Saturday, October 10th at 10AM EST.
