Matt Varga Among many initiatives for Jordan Brand this year, perhaps the most eyebrow-raising move of 2026 has been the return of the Bin23 series. Sidelined after a lofty promise of bringing the ultra-premium series to all numbered Jordans at the time of its original market run, the Jumpman has evidently turned the faucet back on, helping induct the Air Jordan 3, Jordan 6, and Jordan 8 into the lineage. Before the year is out, we’ve got one more coming off the board: the Air Jordan 4 “Bin23.”
Revealed via Complex by Jordan Brand Senior Manager of Retro Footwear Terrance Harvey, the Air Jordan 4 “Bin23” finds its initial concept in Michael Jordan’s love for a certain type of film. No, despite the ongoing pressure on the Jordan “Space Jam” family, it’s not anything animated; this colorway draws its “Fauna Brown/Dark Oak/Baroque Brown/Muslin/Gym Red” combination from the world of Western films.
While the overall coloring here communicates that frontier town idea, it also leads to pony hair cages, a bolo tie lace closure, a saloon-inspired leather hangtag, and involved calligraphic embossing on the tongue. In another first-of-its-kind touch, the Air bag in the Jordan 4 midsole is painted over, creating an interrupted off-white platform underfoot. Finally, ostrich exteriors on the shoebox pair with similarly pocked insoles for an extra dose of premium atmosphere.
The Air Jordan 4 “Bin23” is currently expected to release on December 26th. Retail pricing isn’t available, but expect something above $350; all of this year’s Bin23 efforts have exceeded that mark.
